My first blog...
Well... I have a new place to share what is going on in my life... Xanga and MySpace were getting very boring... I needed something new.
The biggest thing going on for me right now is my hunt for a job. The position that I have a Universal Studios is not what I thought it was going to be. That's okay, I have an interview on March 1st for the position at Alhambra High School. It would be a much better job anyway.
I'm trying to not let that little setback rock me.
Other things have been going on with friends is really taking a toll on me.
We're all going through so many changes, between job stuff, relationships, etc... that our interactions with each other are getting ugly.
Unfortunately, I've been evaluating my involvement level at church. I know that I volunteer to serve God, not any one person or group of people. What happens when your love for what you do almost completely disappears? I wouldn't be leaving God. I'm trying to save my passion... especially for the worship aspect... that dies a little more every week.
I have more fun just sitting at home with the guitar and singing... youth and choir are a chore now. I do it out of obligation. I stay for Wade... no one else, not even me... I haven't really enjoyed worship in so long...
Then again... If I leave... could that impact someone at church? Especially in the youth? Maybe...
If a couple of attitudes were different... I wouldn't feel this way...
